My Beliefs:
I believe that each person is born a sinner and they must make a commitment
to God by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. I believe that God,
being compassionate and caring for humanity sent his son to earth in the form of man where he was crucified on a cross so
that everyone could receive forgiveness of their sins. It is only through the
shed blood of Jesus Christ that each person can receive this free gift of salvation and the ultimate reward of eternity in
Heaven.
I also believe that one day we all will be accountable to God as we answer
two questions;
1. Have
you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? and,
2. How
have you used your gifts and talents to bring others to the Kingdom of God?
My Music Ministry Goals:
Keeping in mind that concerts are often attended by a diverse group of people,
I make every attempt to conduct my services/concerts with the following goals in mind:
To introduce a message of salvation to unsaved people who may come
to a concert long before they may attend a regular church service. I believe
that music can soften the heart and minister to people through the simple message in a song.
In light of that, I take very seriously the songs that I choose to perform during a service.
To provide a musical message
of hope and encouragement to saved people who may be hurting or are experiencing a spiritual crisis in their life. I have found that people find comfort in songs that talk about Heaven or that use biblical examples of miracles
which they can relate to in their personal lives.
To
provide a worship opportunity for Christians through music. While some people
shy away from referring to it as entertainment, I feel that believers should have an opportunity to attend music services
that are fun, inspirational and entertaining.
