“The Counselors that make up the Board of Advisors of the Societas Scholasticorum should be only the most qualified of Scholastic thinkers.  Their function is to provide academic, administrative, and prudential guidance to the other Superiors—most especially to the President General.  The selection of Counselors should be made with the utmost reflection and their advice is not ever to be taken in stride.  They are the minds that direct the Society and must be respected as the intellectual superiors of its every member.”

-Societal Constitution, Article IV-C-iv

Nota Bene: The Society does not pretend to speak the minds of our Counselors.  Despite their position as advisors, it is impossible for them to oversee every practical matter of our association.  Therefore, not every practical matter can be considered representative of their thought.  We humbly defer to their experience and wisdom.
