Overview

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Blue Devil Dash 5K Run/Walk! The purpose of this event is to encourage physical activity among Varina students, faculty, and community members, as well as those of the greater Richmond community. In addition to building a family-friendly Varina community tradition, this event will help us to raise funds for student activities, campus beautification, and scholarships.

About the Course

This FLAT course is set to be run/walked in the Varina community, going past both John Rolfe Middle School and Baker Elementary School. The course will begin and end at Varina High School. Parking will be available at John Rolfe Middle School as well as the ancillary lots at Varina High School. Please follow arrows, cones, and course marshal directions when arriving for the event.

	Kids' 1-mile Fun Run (12 and under)
		Until August 31	$5
		September 1 - 16	$10
		September 17 - October 8th	$15 (no t-shirt guarantee)

	5K Run/Walk
		Until August 31	$15
		September 1 - September 16	$20
		September 17 - October 8th	$25 (no t-shirt guarantee)

T-shirt/Tree Info In our effort to be ecologically sustainable AND to further beautify the Varina High School campus, you have the choice of receiving a race t-shirt OR choosing to have a tree planted in your honor on the Varina campus. For those who choose that option, t-shirts are only guaranteed if registered by September 16; those who register after that date (including walk-up registrants) will receive a t-shirt (if desired) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Starting Times

	Kids’ 1-mile Fun Run (ages 12 and under)		8:00 a.m.
	5K Run/Walk		8:30 a.m.

Packet Pick Up

Race packets may be picked up at Varina High School on Friday, October 7th from 5:00 – 8:00pm or Saturday, October 8th beginning at 7:00am in the main parking lot.

Prizes/Awards

A variety of prizes/awards will be awarded after the race.

Volunteer
