U.S. Representative:  Allen (D) 2,257, Curley 1,357
State Senate:  Benoit 1,325, Mayo 1,347 (excludes Richmond)

It is a great honor to have been chosen by all three towns as our next State Representative.  I will work hard to build common ground, and to find common-sense solutions to the obstacles and challenges we face.

Life is no bowl of berries.  Our times call for sacrifices over the next few years if we are truly to invest in our future and adjust to changing global realities.  Yet we have many strengths in our region as well, and would do well to remind ourselves of these more often.

I want to thank my friend and worthy opponent Brian, my hardworking supporters, and above all the voters of each town, regardless of how they voted, for taking the time to share your concerns with me as I knocked on all 4,000+ doors in the district.  I will work hard for you, for your children and grandchildren, and for our region's collective future.

Yours truly,

Seth

Note:  most states have major budget shortfalls.  Those that do not are largely states with strong fossil fuel (TX, AK, WY, WV) or food (IN, SD, OR, WA) based economies.

As your State Representative, I use this site as another way to keep you informed and to hear from you.  I believe strong communication and a willingness to work across party lines are critical as we work to move Maine forward.
