Merrymeeting Bay Business Association, Annual Meeting:  Wednesday, Nov. 15

Another outstanding event put on by MBBA´s leadership.  The keynote, by Alan Caron of Growsmart Maine, discussed "Charting Maine's Future," the new report by the Brookings Institute.  Message:  Maine´s economy has strong bones, but we must move forward decisively to preserve the quality of place which is our greatest economic asset and our reason for being here to begin with.

Bowdoinham Community Land Use Forum:  November 8th, 7 pm

This first of many public forums around land use ordinance revision drew an excellent crowd of 30-35 and initiated a strong and thoughtful response to Bowdoinham's development patterns and pressures.
