Thelma B. Ack

     KEYSER, W.Va. – Thelma B. Ack, 90, a resident of Heartland of Keyser and formerly of Orchard Street, died on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the nursing home.   

     Born March 30, 1919, in Windber, PA, she was a daughter of the late David and Nora (Stull) Nichol.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Edward Ack, a son, David Ack; two daughters, Linda K. Musgrove and Judy Cox; a sister, Katherine  Cosner and a brother David Nichol.

     Thelma was a homemaker.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

     Surviving are her son, Gary E. Ack, Sr. and fiancé Carole George of Keyser; six grandchildren, Mark Edward Carder, Gary Edward Ack, Jr., Michelle Diane “Missy” Ack, Thomas J. Musgrove and wife Kim, William K. Ack and wife Heather,  and Tammy  Musgrove; eight great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Tom Musgrove and Bob Cox and a daughter-in-law, Debra Lynn Ack. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Heyl Ack and wife Eloise of McCoole and several nieces and nephews.

      At Mrs. Ack’s request, her body was cremated and there will be no visitations.  A private grave side service will be held at a later date at the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.   

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 40, Keyser, WV 26726.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
