Eleanor M. Anderson

KEYSER, W.Va. – Eleanor M. Anderson, 93, a resident of Heartland and formerly of 196 B Street, Keyser, died on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at the nursing home.

Born March 6, 1916, in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Stephen E. and Cora A. (Combs) Dulin. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Gilma "Andy" Anderson February 9, 2000; her son Joffrey Dornon and wife, Patricia and their two children, Joffrey M. Dornon II and David E. Dornon, all on December 1, 1974.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Alkire Chapter 10, OES and Keyser Women's Club.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and two devoted friends, Vivian McKenzie and also caregiver, Ellen Hartman.

Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, from 6 to 8 p m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am with the Reverend James A. McCune officiating.

Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

Alkire Chapter 10, OES will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
