
Scott R. Hawkins
KEYSER,
Born January 4, 1960 in Keyser, he was a son of Menona Merl (Parker) Hawkins of Keyser and the late Edward George Hawkins, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a sister Betty Smith and father-in-law: George Elwood Baker.
Mr. Hawkins was a Potomac State College
Police Officer and former Keyser City Police Officer. He was a 1978 graduate of
Surviving in addition to his mother, Menona, are his wife Bonnie (Baker) Hawkins; his brother Edward George Hawkins, Jr. and wife Vicki of Port St. Lucie, Fla; his two sisters, Linda Cheshire and husband Bill of Westernport, MD and Joann Lee and husband Warren of Keyser and three children, David Echartea, Eric Wilt and Jose Echartea-Wilt. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Carol Rembold and husband Gay of Keyser; Brothers-in-law: Billy Baker and wife Tara of Wind Gap, PA and George Baker, Jr. and wife Judy of Hagerstown, MD; sisters-in-law: Edie Kalbaugh and husband Dick and Pam Oates and husband Steve, all of Cumberland; nephews: Damon Lee, Casey Lee, both of Keyser, Jason Oates, Bryan Oates, both of Cumberland and Edward George Hawkins, III of FLa; nieces: Shakira Kalbaugh of Cumberland and Melissa White of Charlottesville, VA and his best friends: pet dog Salem and pet cat Stewie.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday, May 30, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Wesley Beahm officiating.
