
Eddie Mack Paugh
KEYSER, W.Va. – Eddie Mack “Mackie” Paugh, 69, of 176 D Street,
Keyser, went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 21, 2008, at his residence.
Born April 24, 1938 in Fairmont, he was a son of the late Edgar M.
and Lillie B. (Stonebraker) Paugh. He was also preceded in death by his wife
Janice Lee (Fisher) Paugh on September 12, 2004; a brother, Hider D. “Bud”
Paugh and wife Edna Glendora (Adams) Paugh, two
sisters, Violet B. Guerrieri and Betty L. Hartman and
a nephew Danny Earl Paugh.
Eddie Mack was retired as a computer
operator from NSA. He was a 1957 graduate
of Keyser High
School, a U.S. Air Force veteran and attended the University of Maryland. “Mackie” was an active member of Calvary United Methodist
Church where he taught
Adult Sunday School, was Chairman of the Evangelist Committee, sang in the
Chancel Choir and Men’s Chorus, and served on the Visitation Committee and
Kitchen Committee. He was a former percussionist with Chesapeake Caledonian
Pipes and Drums and a member of Boyce Houser Post #41, American Legion.
Surviving are his two sons, Troy Allan
Paugh and wife Terry Lynn of Keyser and James Edward Paugh and wife Patricia
Ann of Hurlock, MD; grandchildren, Bethany Lauren, Zachary John, Jonathon
Daniel, James Aaron and Elizabeth Ann Paugh and
Brothers-in-law, Pete Hartman
and James L. Fisher and wife Linda all of Keyser.
Uncle
Mackie, as he was fondly called, is also survived by his nephews, John R.
Hefner, Jr. of Hampton, VA and David Lynn Paugh, Brian Christopher and Kevin
James Fisher, all of Keyser; and his nieces, Jeannette Renee Perras, of Hampton, Jenise
Rachelle Jackson and Bonnie Jean Hefner, both of Keyser and Teresa Lynn Ritchie
of Maysville
Friends will be received at the Markwood
Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday,
January 26, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Calvary
United Methodist
Church, 233 S. Mineral Street,
Keyser with the Reverend William A. Linhart and Brother Bob Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial
Gardens, Keyser. Military honors will be accorded at the
cemetery.
