Georgiana Elizabeth Redman

     KEYSER, W.Va. – Georgiana Elizabeth Redman, 72, of 72 West Piedmont Street, Keyser, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Braddock Hospital, Cumberland, MD.

            Born April 14, 1935, in Piedmont WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Elizabeth (Kent) Jackson.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl A. Redman, a sister Vinda L. Vauls and a brother Robert Jackson.

            Georgiana was a retired Head Cook from Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home and a Cook from Potomac State College.  She was a graduate of Howard High School, Piedmont, a member of Bonnie View Apostolic Chapel and a member of the Heartland Red Hat Ladies.

            Surviving are her husband Emmett J. Redman, daughter Diana Gaye Dinoso & husband Romon, Keyser, three sons Steven Emmett Redman & wife Laura, Piedmont; Jeffery Michael “Bub” Redman & wife Diana May, Keyser and Peter Robert Redman, Keyser.  Two Brothers, Richard A. Jackson, Pensacola, FL and Bruce W. Jackson, Mathias, WV.  Five grandchildren:  Robert T. Redman and wife Brittny, Phillip L. Redman, David R. Redman, Ramona Kaye Dinoso, Holly Renee Redman.  Two great-grandchildren: Cora Ann Marie Redman and Tahlton Emmett Redman.   She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family members.

            Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, from 2-4 pm. and 6-8 pm.  Services will be held at the Markwood Funeral Home on Friday, at 8 pm., with the Rev. Daniel Garlitz officiating.  Click here to send your Condolences
