Bernice Lee Reel

     KEYSER, W.Va. - Bernice Lee Reel, 86, of 471 Barnes Street, Keyser, went to be with the Lord on  Monday, May 18, 2009 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.

     Born May 29, 1922 in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Mack W. Hull and Clara (High) Hull Diehl.   She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tracey P. Reel on January 19, 1975, a brother-in-law, Malc Kight, a son-in-law, Ed Bell and a daughter-in-law, Libby (McKenney) Reel.

     Mrs. Reel was a homemaker, a graduate of Keyser High School and attended Potomac State College.   She was a member of Keyser Presbyterian Church. 

     Surviving are her eight children: Clara Belle Bell of Westernport, MD, Mack "Butch" Reel and wife, Gail of Alexandria, VA, Donna Parker of Keyser, Dorothy Biser and husband, Gene of Manassas, VA, James Reel and wife, Shelba of Keyser, Sue McCoy of Burlington, Steven Reel and wife, Evelyn of Burlington and Bernice "Bunny" Moyers and husband, Larry of Romney; one sister, Maxine Kight of Westernport. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Tracey (Summers) Schramm and husband Ralph, Jennifer Morgan & husband Mike, Lillianna Aldridge and husband Brian, Erin Alsaro and husband Jose, Daniel Parker and wife Bridgett, Lt. John Parker and wife Rachel, Duane Biser and wife Karen, Adam Biser, Shellie Bachert and husband Michael, Sarah VanMeter and husband Brian, Micah Reel and wife Jillian, Elizabeth Voit and husband Matt, Shannon (Reel) Myers and husband Brian, Angela (Ebert) Long and husband Rick; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren, 7 step great-grandchildren; 3 step great-great grandchildren..

      Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. 

      Services will be conducted at the Keyser Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Mineral Street, on Friday, May 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Ernest L. Poland, Jr. officiating.

     The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.

     Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
