Dennis P. Renz

BURLINGTON, WV – Dennis P. Renz, 54, of Burlington, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at WMHS Braddock Campus, Cumberland, MD.

Born on November 13, 1954 in Minden, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Edward Thomas and Bessie Jane (Erickson) Renz.

Dennis was a graduate of a Texas high school. He acquired several certifications in Electrical Engineering and Auto CAD. He was an electrical instrumentation designer and draftsman for New Page, having 20+ years of service. He was of Catholic faith, enjoyed many of his hobbies, including electronics, ham radio operation, kayaking, whitewater rafting, camping and crossbow activities.

Surviving are his wife Rosemary Jane (Wilson) Renz; stepdaughters, Lois (Wilson) Milone and husband Riccardo of Richmond, VA and Elaine Wilson of Strongsville, OH; a step-granddaughter, Kennedy Wilson Strongsville, OH; a sister, Shirley Phrares of Humble, TX; a niece, Kathy Phrares; a nephew, David Phrares and great-niece, Skyler Phrares.  He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family and close friends.

At Mr. Renz's request, his body was cremated and there will be no visitations or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, WV.
