Inez F. Trenter

     KEYSER, WV – Inez F. Trenter, 81, of Keyser, died on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the residence of her son and wife, Mark and Tammy Trenter.

     Born on June 24, 1928 in Harman, WV, she was daughter of the late Earl R. and Edna (Henline) Huffman.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth M. Trenter on April 13, 1985, a son Brad Trenter and a daughter-in-law Mary Jean Trenter.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

     Inez was a graduate of Harman High School and Potomac State College.  She was an active, dedicated member of the Keyser Presbyterian Church where she had served as an elder, a member of the church choir, Presbyterian Women, Women’s Sunday School Class and Bereavement Committee.

     She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and delighted in spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed as our mother, our grandmother, our aunt, our mentor and our best friend.

     Surviving are her two sons, Kevin Trenter and wife Wendy of Short Gap and Mark Trenter and wife Tammy of New Creek; three grandchildren, Reanna Trenter Hawkins of Pittsburg, Pa, Brandon Trenter of Short Gap and Lauren P. Trenter of Short Gap; two step-grandchildren, Ryan Ross and Nicole Ross, both of Short Gap and a very special friend June Virts of Keyser. 

     Friends will be received at the Keyser Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Mineral Street, Keyser, on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Services will be conducted at the Church on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Ernest L. Poland, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

     Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

     If desired, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Keyser Presbyterian Church, Adult Choir, 300 S. Mineral Street, Keyser, WV 26726 or Hospice of Potomac Valley Hospital, 100 Pin Oak Lane, Keyser, WV 26726.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, WV.
