Ronald K. Wiley

     KEYSER, W.V. - Ronald K. Wiley, 74, a resident of Heartland of Keyser and formerly of 95 Maryland Street, Keyser, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at WMHS Braddock Campus, Cumberland, MD.

     Born August 26, 1935, in Keyser, he was a son of the late Bruce Otto Wiley, Sr. and Pansy Marie (Barnhouse) Wiley.  He also was preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Arnold) Wiley on July 15, 1998.

     Mr. Wiley was a graduate of Keyser High, attended Potomac State and U.S. Navy Korean veteran and naval reservist.  He was retired in 1979 from Westvaco Corp.  He was a Methodist by faith. Ron was an avid hunter, fisherman and sportsman.

     Surviving are his five daughters: Jerri M. Bishop and husband William of Ridgeley, Rhonda L. Swayne and husband, Bruce, Rita J. Hoalcraft and husband Clyde, Linda J. Noechel and husband Michael, all of Keyser and Eva D. Wiley and husband Eddie Willan of Heyworth, IL; and a brother, Bruce O. Wiley, Jr. and wife, Linda of Keyser. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Trevor Jose, Aaron Jose, Autumn Perry, Adam Hoalcraft, Clinton Hoalcraft, Sarah Trottier, Carrie Swayne, Katie Swayne, Haley Willan and Blake Willan; one great-granddaughter, Starlet Trottier; and a number of nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser Friday, October 23, 2009 from 5 to 8 p m. 

      Services will be held at Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Mary Aronhalt officiating.

     Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
