The Royal Hanneford Circus Rolls Into The Mennen Arena May 15 - 18, 2008.

A glittering galaxy of renowned circus acts from around the world take over The Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown, as the Royal Hanneford Circus returns for eight big performances Thursday, May 15  through Sunday, May 18. Show times are Thursday, May 15 at 11 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Friday, May 16 at 11:00 am and 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 17 at  2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 18 at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Tickets are $11 general admission and $16 for reserved seating. Tickets are now  on sale at the Salaam Shrine Center, 369 Mt. The Royal Hanneford Circus takes great pride in introducing you to our Ringmaster, Mr. Billy Martin.  Billy has been with the Hanneford Circus family for almost a decade.  He has been voted #1 Ringmaster in the Circus to date.  He is living his childhood fantasy, having grown up in a little town in near Buffalo New York, his dream was to become a Ringmaster.   He “ran away from home” in his teens to join a small circus run by James Cole, “Cole’s All Star Circus”  and the rest is history!   He has performed in circuses throughout the United States and Canada. We are proud to say he is your Ringmaster

Among the feature acts in the 2008 version on the Royal Hanneford Circus is world renown Clayton Rosaire and his spectacular, crowd pleasing, ferocious felines. This awe-inspiring and educational display combines the beauty and intelligence of exotic Bengal tigers with mutual respect and affection. A true animal training masterpiece!

Returning by popular demand, Miss Angela is our “Queen of the Air”.  Angela has been performing on the single trapeze since she was a teenager.  Hailing from a circus family she started practicing as a little girl on an “old axle” with two ropes tied to it , hanging under the grandstand seats of the circus.   Performing death defying tricks high above, on the aerial trapeze, she will thrill you as she executes each and every move with the perfection of a great “artist”.  Sit back, relax and enjoy a “rhapsody in flight”.

Witness the unbelievable archery and crossbow marksmanship of the Mongolian Archers. Complete trust and confidence in your partner, is the main ingredient in this act.  Could you stand in front of a target, as your spouse shoots arrows from a bow and a crossbow, while blindfolded?  They have been doing this for over 30 years.  Archery expertise performed thrillingly, yet flawlessly. Making their debut performance with the Royal Hanneford & the Salaam Shrine Circus.

And at the edge of the danger zone, Leo Garcia will thrill and amaze you with his dexterity on the Wheel Of Destiny This 30 ft. pendulum revolves in mid - air, as Leo Garcia defies the laws of gravity in
combining skills with speed as he walks, runs, somersaults, and jumps rope on the inside and  outside of the circle. His final "leaps of faith" will have audiences holding their breath.

Under the direction of our dynamic circus ringmaster Billy Martin, the entire arena comes alive with the sounds and smells, and sights of the circus as he presents all of the acts including the amazing quick change artistry of the Smirnovs,  the amazing acrobatic dexterity across all three rings by Miss Alicia, Miss Getti and the amazing Vlastic Duo; the hilarious antics of Roger and his trampoline; the circus fantasy of flight as the Cortes Flyers fly through the air with the greatest of ease high above the ring; the ever entertaining hilarious Salaam Shrine Circus clowns; and everyone’s favorite - the Royal Hanneford Circus elephants under the direction of Tim Frisco.
