- Interviews will be preserved according to professional archival standards.
- Interviewed servicemen and women will recieve a letter acknowledging participation in the Veteran's
History Project and a personal copy of their interview on a CD.
- Information from the Biographical Data Form will be presented to the public in the project's National Registry
of Service on their web site.
- Recorded material will be available to researchers, educators, family members, and others at the American
Folklife Center in the Library of Congress.
By contributing an interview, war veterans become a valued participant in the Veteran's History
Project and will play an important role in the creation of a collection that is to become a permanent part of the
nation's record. Orbital Sound looks forward to recording stories of service, and make it possible to learn about the past
from first-hand accounts of living through those extraordinary times.
