Ukulele Noir performed another exciting show at The Sky Bar in Somerville, MA. This show included
Jim and Liz Beloff with August Waters, surprise regular guest Robert Wheeler, and surprise international guest Martin Pierre
LaPierre from Montreal. (If I remember my geography correctly that's in Canada or Mexico) Also, Greg Hawkes joined
Tim Mann for a few numbers and Stevie "Mai Tai Serenader" Lightin' joined Ukulele Crooner Rick Russo.
Jim and Liz thrilled the audience with their beautiful vocals. An encore was demanded
but not allowed due to time constraints in this full-bill show which ran from 8:00 PM till after midnight.
Martin Pierre LaPierre has a great voice.....I'd like to hear more from him. For some reason
though he sang in French.
There was also a surprise birthday presentation to Craig "Ringmaster" Robertson. Cecily and
Uke Noir members conspired to purchase and present an Ebay LeDomino that Craig had been interested in. Can't wait to
hear it in the next show.
