 The Flea makes sure to never miss a Ukulele Noir Show. This show included local ukers Craig Robertson,
Dave Wasser, Rick "Ukulele Crooner" Russo, Renee Rogers, Melvern Taylor and the Fabulous Meltones, John Hicks (bass uke),
Tim Mann, and Robert "Ukulele Consciousness" Wheeler. Rachel Menke and Mark "Jazz Ukes" Occhionero also did one song
each.
Folk Uke was the special guest act. Many of us caught Folk Uke at the New York Uke Fest. Members, Amy Nelson and Cathy Guthrie accompany their stunning vocals and harmonies with
ukulele and guitar. Their beautiful, original melodies will stay with you for days. Just don't start singing
the songs too loudly in public as the lyrics are often quite adult. Cathy and Amy's stage presence and sense of humor
