The above ukes were discovered in Brimfield by Robin Schade of the Depot
Antique Gallery in Bouckville, NY. One is unusual in that it is has a round body, but is made of wood. The banjo
uke features a glued on, painted top. One of these (I believe the banjo uke} also features some very unusual brass on
brass patent friction style pegs.
I couldn't let Robin walk by me with three ukes in his hand and not engage him in
conversation. He deals in stringed musical instruments and has some other collectible ukes for sale. If you are
interested in these ukes or in asking him about the rest of his collection, give him a call at (315)893-7432.
