The Noiristas returned to the Skybar in Somerville on Saturday, August 25th. Davis Sweet subtituted
as emcee. Mary J. Martin made her second Ukulele Noir appearance. Jim Persky made his Ukulele Noir debut. Jason Tagg of Ukulele Disco was in the joint with his trusty video camera. He also did as set as a "surprise guest star."
Another "surprise guest," Josh Hilberman, received a surprise when he was not allowed to perform at the club due to a recent "issue" with a dancing act. Josh
is a very accomplished, and recognized professional tap dancer. He also plays uke.
Flea Market Music Inc. was kind enough to donate a Fortune soprano ukulele for a giveaway. Don't worry if you missed out.
They are donating a Fortune Baritone to be given away at the next Ukulele Noir show to be held in Framingham, Massachusetts
at Amazing Things.
