The Flea gives a poetic description of events ocurring one recent evening in the sleepy town of Lowell,
Massachusetts.......

| 'Twas down a dark and snowy cobblestone street in an old New England mill town.... |

| ...The chinese lanterns lit the gated entrance..... |

| Inside were men wearing hats and playing ukuleles........... |

| ...and men wearing hats discussing ukuleles......... |

| ....And beautiful ladies gazing at ukuleles displayed like pork chops at the deli... |

| Zack Hickman with his bass and handlebar mustache accompanied Tim Mann ...... |

| Robert Wheeler's performance photography filled the cases and walls..... |

| Robert's humorous inspirations of Ukulele Consciousness filled the air.... |

| They came from as far away as Ohio to play.......... |

| An audience of 50 strong was amazed as Jim Volk fingerpicked through rock classics... |

| And Jim Volk and his shirt blended into the museum's psychedelic walls. |

| Peter Bloom with his bass flute accompanied Matt Samolis |

| They drank and drank and stayed through the storm to hear that phenomenon known as "Ukulele Noir." |

| Melvern and his Fabulous Meltones played for the hometown fans... |

| And then the night drew to a close...... |

| And the light darkened.......and the evening faded into the shadows. |

| And into our memories. |
