Though out of the sighthound loop, and considering the Last Lap Pack complete, fostering for the Animal Relief
Fund, brought new all-breed knowledge to Russ and Erin. Though their hearts stayed strong in the placement of a couple of
Beagles, a Bloodhound Mix,a Keeshond mix, a couple of Lab Mixes, a Rottie Mix and a few others, there was little hope of finding
a home for the little PUG that came into ARF other than Russ and Erin's home. Russ fell deeply for this little declawed girl,
and Erin could never refuse the wishes of her husband, right? So little MargaRita,
or "Rita," became the final part of the CANINE Last Lap Pack. She is our little princess, and can always make us smile with
her independent devotion.

Extra Extra: Rita wins Uglies Pet in a Contest!!!!!
Thank you to all Sabre employees that participated in the Pet Photo Contest! From cats and dogs to hermit crabs and llama
photos, we received an overwhelming response of interesting and beautiful photographs featuring the animals you treasure most!
The results have been tallied and the winners have been chosen. In the “Cutest Photo Category,” the winner
is Mike Dailey’s picture, which featured his cat Alex. In the “Funniest Photo Category,” the winner is Sharla
Schauvliege’s photo, which featured her greyhound Bogie. The winner of the “Ugliest Photo Category” is William
(Russ) Cole’s photo which featured his pug Rita.
The winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to Petco.
