Beliefs express themselves in all aspects of a person's
life. I'll use this page to describe how my own convictions have influenced my life and how they shape my daily activities.
For
instance, a simple poem I wrote in a hospital room inspired me to write The Darkness Before The Dawn-In My Footsteps/Poems

Faith and belief comprise a very important part of our lives. A person's beliefs in many ways define
who they are -- how they see themselves, what they want out of life, and more.
On this web site I'll offer a personal
account of my own beliefs. I'll describe how my beliefs and my writings have changed my life in profound and exciting ways,
and how I think they might change the lives of others.

My Footsteps/Poems To Inspire, are poems written during my convalescence that inspired me to write The Darkness Before
The Dawn. My wife Joan has poems inspired from our first book Two Stepped Out For Him.

The Darkness Before The Dawn
I had just been examined for my yearly physical and my medical examiner and I thought I was healthy. Two days later I started
to go into shock and was rushed to the hospital. I had a viral infection, urine infection,
blood infection, high blood pressure, and I was anemic. I was leaking blood internally and when I stood up my pulse would
race. It was determined through tests that I had colon cancer, bph (benign prostatic hyperplasia) and sleep apnea. This book explains step by step the surgery and many tests I had to overcome while I continued to keep my faith, a
positive attitude and good humor.
