English Saddle Pattern

This pattern and instructions will make a basic saddle like the one pictured (without knee rolls. Still trying to perfect those). Saddles made from this pattern have NAN-Q'd for me in open competition, but your results may very depending on your experience level.

Note: This is NOT a beginner's project - it assumes you have the basic knowledge of working with leather, i.e. skiving, etc. If you have never made a saddle before I suggest using scrap leather to test fit and practice construction methods. If you've made a Rio Rondo kit saddle you should have the skills necessary to make this one.
