Notes from Teri Francis – Re:  SJPA Website

Other Psych Assoc Websites          My notes

Best sites

NJ - Middlesex County Psych                 very nice, from what I could see

Delaware Psych Assoc                          simple, easy to navigate

http://www.opa.org/                                well-organized, clear navigation, professional look

Regional-WesternPsych                         well-organized, lots of info, easy to find, small print

http://www.coloradopsych.org/                very professional, clean, clear – a bit too flashy intro

Worst sites

PA Psych Assoc                                   the WORST, cluttered, confusing mess

Maryland Psych Assoc                          a confusing mess – horrible!!!

Regional - Eastern Psych Assoc             one of the worst I’ve seen – why bother ???

http://www.ncpsychology.com/                too small to read, unorganized and confusing

http://www.wapsych.org/                         looks like an ad-farm or a billboard!

Fair sites – they work

NJ - Mercer County Psych                      simple & clear, very dull, amateur design

NJ - Essex&Union Psych                       good navigation, type is hard to read

Regional - New England Psych               easy to find thing – colors are awful

Regional - SouthEasternPsych                unpolished gem, easy to find things – bad background

Regional - MidwesternPsych                   kind of tacky, but very easy to navigate

http://www.nyspa.org/                             nice look, a little cluttered, but not as bad as others

http://www.nhpaonline.org/                      not bad – kind of busy, but easy to find things

http://www.cpapsych.org/                       a little cluttered, but not horrible

http://www.connpsych.org/                      nice, but way too flashy and busy

http://www.ripsych.org/                           too flashy & nesty for me, but it does the job

http://www.vapsych.org/                          not great -- but, hey, it works
