Bunker

Bunker came from a wonderful and loving family who had two CBR's.  Bunker exhibited dominance and protectiveness issues that caused some concern in his family when they had their baby.  We were truly blessed to have met his family and to have received the gift of this incredible animal.  He is confident, calm and almost regal in his demeanor. His outward calm belies his incredible courage and unbelieveable physical strength. He can and will swim in pounding surf for hours, or be just as content to lay with his head on the foot of his human in the quiet of the den.
Bunker's confidence may also come from his svelte 110 pound frame!

We lost our dear Bunker to lymphoma in March of 2009. He was a brave and distinguished boy to the very end.

Boo

Boo was pulled from a northern VA animal shelter in June of 2003.  Our initial intent was to foster this big guy, but when our Chestnut died, we decided, along with Boo, that he was home.
Boo had severe separation anxiety.  Initially, he was so afraid of being left behind that he would not go out to relieve himself unless we stood right next to him.  He has come a long way in a very short time.  Still a touch of fear aggression, and he's a bit whacked, but mostly just a lot of puppy in a very large package.
We changed his name to Boudreaux (Boo for short) because he's pretty much scared of everything.

Our Boo was diagnosed with lymphoma in May of 2009.  A double whammy on the heels of the loss of Bunker.  He has been through chemo and is currently in remission.
