Rescue and our wonderful clowns, Bunker and Boo.
I'm Chris Longe and my beloved/friend/soul
mate and wife Elizabeth and I live in the DC Metro area. We are both retired Navy; I rode around under
the water for most of my 24 year career and Liz flew over the top of the water, piloting various aircraft and helos for her
20 year tour. We are on our second careers and trying to figure out what we want to be when we grow up.
We are volunteer members
of Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief and Rescue (CBR&R) and we work closely with other state and national Chesapeake
Bay Retriever (CBR) rescue organizations.
We hope to provide interesting
and useful information on CBRs and CBR rescue. Our hope is that this information will assist you in determining
if a CBR is the right breed for you.
I also work as a Behavioral
Trainer. My greatest reward is in keeping dogs at home by educating and assisting frustrated owners on handling techniques
and behavior modification protocols for these incredible dogs.
