Betsy has had five calves. All but one were nice bulls. (Her [and our] first is not pictured here as
it was still born due to an unplanned mixing of the breed. She had gotten out and met up with a local
Holstein bull. The calf was gorgeous, but was too big and caused complications).
Her 2008 calf is a gorgeous little heifer. She is built nice, but had an accident on her birthday. Mom stepped
on and damaged her tail. We had to dock it. She is still sweet just the same. We plan to keep her for our
breeding program.
All her Devon calves have been polled. She is a great mother!
