Our girl, DaySprings Amazing T-ra o Zion came to us on a co-ownership from New Zion kennels in the Summer of 2005 after they failed to get her to conceive several times. She arrived here, loaded with parasites, and weighing in at approx 60 lbs. After a serious bath/grooming session, three treatments of Panacur to rid her of the multitude of intestinal parasites, and enough food to increase her to a proper weight of 90 lbs, she was bred.

We had no problems, her first and only litter to date was born in November 2005 at BelleGrace Shilohs, and we fulfilled the co-own with New Zion receiving their three pups in January 2006. Their stud on loan , Zion's Knight Rider Kit was returned to New Zion in January 2006 along with the three female pups.

During that time she was referred to as T-ra then, but, because it was a name we never really cared for, and it was one she didn't respond to in any way as she was raised in a kennel with minimal attention, we taught her the more feminine call name, "Maizi", or "Maizi Mae".

Maizi has blossomed into a large female with heavy bone, a broad head, and a wonderful temperament.

BelleGrace had her hips and elbows formally evaluated by OFA in the Autumn of 2006 before she was bred. She truly is an "amazing" girl as she is one of the elite group of Shilohs that rated OFA excellent on her hips. Full credit for that goes to her breeder, Lilli Anglin of Dayspring Shiloh Shepherds.
