Here are some pictures of my Jeep project.

This is my 1988 YJ Wrangler with a 4" suspension lift and 32" tires. It had a tired old 6 cylinder engine with
141,000 miles on it, and a 5 speed transmission that was jumping out of 5th gear!

This is my messy garage! To the right of the Jeep you can see the new engine - a 6 liter Vortec V-8 with a 4L60E automatic
with overdrive from a 2004 Yukon with 29,000 miles on it. The first step is to get the old stuff out!

And so it begins! I removed the front clip, disconnected air conditioning, wiring, and transmission etc., attached
the engine hoist, and started lifting.

She looks a little barren without an engine, transmission and transfer case! On to the next step - cut off the
old motor mounts.
