Leonard Brandwein, our Baal K’riah, will be away for Pesach and we appreciate those who will be filling in for him with laining and other functions. We look forward to hearing Megillas Rus led by Lenny on Shavuos. Our Gabbaim,, Lenny Lauer, Anchel Nulman and Herby Kaiser assist with coordinating services.

A highlight of the year is the annual gathering which ends the holiday of Shavuos. This special meal - known as "the feast of King David" recalls the tradition that Shavuos is the Yahrzeit of King David. This gathering is traditionally graced by the presence of Rav Teitz who provides the inspiring and thought provoking Torah lesson, The harmonies and melodies so characteristic of Bais Yitzchok, are a fitting close to the Peach / Shavuos season, We hope you plan to attend this event which follows Mincha on the second day of Shavuos.

Weekly Activities

Davening & Learning: In addition to services themselves (Shacharis on Mon. and Thur. at 6:25 am and Tue, Wed. and Fri at 6:30 am, Rosh Chodesh, 6:15 am), breakfast and learning follows davening (Mishna Brurah on weekdays and Kitzur Shulchan Aruch on Sundays and holidays led by Lennie Brandwein.) On Shabbos (davening at 8:30 am). Before K’rias HaTorah, the newly begun study of Thilim - Psalms - is led by Rabbi Moshe Abramowitz.
