Parashas Noach

Last Week's Kiddush was sponsored by the Cheryl & R. Moshe Abramowitz in honor of Chasan Bereishis, R. Moshe Abramowitz and in commemoration of the upcoming Yahrzeits of Cheryl’s mother, a”h and Moshe’s father, a”h and Beckie & Robbie Heizler commemorating the Yahrzeit of Robbie’s mother, a”h. R. Moshe Abramowitz spoke. This week, the Kiddush will be sponsored by the Lejtman Family in commemoration of the Yahrzeit of Usher’s mother, a”h and the Feuerberg Family, also for a yahrzeit. On Sunday,  in commemoration of the Yahrzeit of Anchel Nulman’s mother, a”h, Yehuda Nulman made a siyum and the Nulmans provided an elaborate breakfast.  May all these neshamos be elevated in shamayim and  be melitzei yoshair for all. A Final Thank You to all those who provided ruach and energy on the final days of Yom Tov . . .to Lennie Brandwein who tackled Koheles, layning and Geshem,  all in one day. Parashas Bereishis - Mevorchim Mar Cheshvon Last Week's Simchas Torah Kiddush and Luncheon was warm and intimate.  Jeannie Zimmer and her family deserve our eternal thanks for providing a wonderful spread. Thanks to the sponsors of the Kiddush:  Mrs. Ruth Strashun, the  Zimmers,  Anonymous, Susan & Ken Mandel, Cheryl & R. Moshe Abramowitz, the Kaisers and Annette & Lennie Lauer.  Hashanos each year come from the plantings of Mrs. Toby Goldberg. Our for giving us access for Hoshana Rabbah. Our own plantings, started by Jean Zimmer, will need more maturity before they can be a major source for Yom Tov. Rosh HaShanah Last week the Kiddush was sponsored by David Yusim, Marty Martinez and Shamayim Gabbay in honor of their move to the North Avenue section after many years of involvement with Bais Yitzchok. They will be missed very much. Anchel Nulman gave the d'var Torah. Our Next Kiddush will be Shabbos Shuva. The Melaveh Malka - Torah Mantle Dedication - Rabbi Wein Video - Selichos last Motzei Shabbos was very successful.  Thanks to Jeannie Zimmer and her helpers for the desserts, to Hermann Kaizer for the use of his movie screen for the video, Robbie Heizler for providing the video projector, Ellie Schneider for providing the video - Chapter Six of Rabbi Wein's series, R.
