Description: Lew Wallace fights a delaying action to protect Washington from Jubal Early
in the summer of 1864.

"Game: Trouble on the I-Bear-ian Peninsula"

Description: Napoleon Bearaparte has send General Junot in a dash across Spain to
capture the Portuguese Royal Family and control the Ibearean Peninsula. In the real
world, Junot strolled and the Portuguese Royalty had set sail before he arrived. In
this game, Junot has pressed onward, and the Portuguese Bear Guard must fight a valiant
defense of the passes at the Spanish border to buy enough time for the escape. (Historical
setting - but with Teddy Bears!)

Description: A foreign freighter has just dropped off a load of liquor amongst the
10,000 Islands of southern Florida. Now rival gangs race through the alligator-infested
mangrove swamps and over the Everglades grasslands in their high speed airboats to be the
first to pick up and deliver the alcoholic supplies to the thirsty folks of Miami. But
wait - the plans were not as secret as had been hoped, and is that the Coast Guard steaming
in to thwart the bootleggers?

Description: Evil Princess Ardalla has long craved the attention of Buck Rogers.
Over the years her efforts to win his heart have been thwarted by Buck’s foolish infatuation
with Wilma Dearing. Tired of playing nice, Ardalla has decided to take decisive action --
she will kill Wilma. Surely Buck will find Ardalla more attractive once he’s seen Wilma’s
mangled corpse. [I said she was evil. I didn’t say she was smart.] Ardalla has planned
carefully. Watching for her opportunity, she has kidnapped Wilma and carried her to Space
Station Accipiter where she has secretly made elaborate preparations. Now, as Wilma is on
her way to a horrible death, heroes dash to her rescue, opportunists rush to cash in and
bystanders stampeed for the exits.

Description: Chevauchees, French for Pillaging Raid. The English army unleashes a
raid on an unsuspecting French village. Each player will control a group of English or
Gaskin troops, with the object of raiding and pillaging the French town. The player who
captures the most treasure, and causes the most havoc, wins!

Description: An American Armored Infantry Company from the 65th Armored Infantry
Battalion, 20th Armored Infantry Division, races to capture a forward lying Luftwaffe
airfield, and prevent Field Marshal Schultz from making an escape. The poor Luftwaffe
Field Units, detached from the 7th Luftwaffe Field Division, have been ordered to defend
the gates of Airfield 1102, and slow the Americans assault, to allow the Field Marshal
time to escape. Simple and quick, yet engaging rules, using 28mm figures, from Victory
Force Miniatures.



"Game: Rorke's Drift"

Description: 3200 Zulus fall upon the mission Station at Rorke's Drift, Natal. The
station is defended by 100 men of Company B 2/24th Foot. More Victoria Crosses were awarded
to the defenders than for any other colonial action.



"Game: The Battle of Wilson's Creek -- Missouri, 10th August 1861"

GM: Rich Hasenauer and Tony Figula

Rules: Regimental Fire and Fury

Period: ACW

Scale: 15mm

Table Size: 6'x8' with a staging table

Preferred Time: 10:00-4:00


Description: The battle fought here was the first major Civil War engagement west of
the Mississippi River, involving about 5,400 Union troops and 12,000 Confederates. The
battle led to greater federal military activity in Missouri. Wilson's Creek (or Oak Hill,
as Confederate veterans used to call it) demonstrated the fatal military weakness of the
new Southern nation: its inability to make its victories count.

"Game: The Battle of Camden"

Rules: Take Aim and Fire

Period: American War of Independence

Scale: 6mm

Duration: 5 hrs.

Players: 8

Description: General Gates marches south to free the Carolinas from the British.
The American army is comprised mostly of militia but is stiffened by an elite force
of MD and DEL Continentals. Gates meets the British army led by Lord Cornwallis outside
of Camden. Although outnumbered: the British attack. Within the hour, the American
army no longer exists.
Rules highlight musketry, leadership, training and stress in combat. Players can be
innovative but have better control using linear tactics. Scale is in 15 yd. increments,
1 min. per turn and 5 men per strength point.
Come early and deploy your troops!!

DESCRIPTION: It's the late '30s and the Saturday morning serial is king of the
movie theater. Nazis, Cultists, Moonmen, Jungle Women,Iron JawedHeros, and Heroines
who fainted a lot were all mixed into thrilling and often ludicrous plot lines that
followed in short segments week to week to tell a tale. Do you have what it takes
to be a B-movie star? Rules will be taught by the co-author. Children under 14 only
with an accompanying adult.
