Well, what a way to start a blog.  But this is the kind of thing I seem to do when I can't sleep.  I don't know if I'll keep up with this or not.  I have always wanted to journal but can never be consistent about it.  So here goes......

Today was my day to babysit 3 of my grandkids. I love doing this even when I don't feel the best or when the kids are just being ornery, as their parents put it.  Summer is finally here and it was hot and humid with a very brief downpour just at naptime, to which I was given two updates on before we fell asleep.  We did a little chalk drawing out on the driveway this morning and bubble blowing.  'We' also put a puzzle together.  The 'baby' is one tomorrow and I can hardly believe that.  He was a blast today, chasing my husband around and laughing up a storm.  His birthday party is this Saturday and I can't wait to see him with cake.  On Sunday we will see the other 3 grandkids when we meet them at Kennywood, our local amusement park.
