All Homework Assignments are posted on the classroom whiteboard and should be copied down
(word for word) into the Daily Planner.
ALL HOMEWORK IS DUE THE NEXT CLASS DAY, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
LATE POLICY Any graded asssignments that are LATE will receive a 5
point grade deduction for each day late. If the late assignment is not submitted after 3 days, a
ZERO grade will be recorded.
MISSING ASSIGNMENTS Students are responsible for keeping track of
their assignments and completing work on-time. Since all students and parents have online access to their grades
on the Gradeconnect website, they are responsible for noting their missing assignments and approaching their teacher
with their late work. The classroom teacher will not seek out students to collect missing work or late assignments.
ABSENTEES It is the responsibility of the student who
is absent to make arrangements to complete missing work and make arrangements to make up any tests or quizzes.
TEST ALL tests are to be signed
by a parent and returned the next class day.
EXTRA CREDIT EXTRA CREDIT IS NOT OFFERED.

OCEANOGRAPHY
When preparing for the next test, study all handouts, diagrams, copybook notes, worksheets. (Since
our textbook does not contain any information on Oceanography, it will not be used for this unit). Video clips and links
to additional resources are available on the Science Page.

Make sure you are prepared when you come to Science Class. Students need to remember to bring their
pencils, daily planner, folder, copybook, textbook, red pen, ruler, index cards, scissors, glue stick and markers
or colored pencils.
