During 4th Grade we explore The Ten Commandments, The Beatitudes, and The Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.  We also learn about the Church and the liturgical season, celebrating the feast days and memorials throughout the year.  Students will be working independently and cooperatively to complete projects and assignments while sharing their experiences and faith.

Our classroom contains a prayer center which is open at all times for students to take time to stop and reflect, share special intentions and learn more about our Catholic Faith.  Resources are availble for research and prayer.  There are rosaries and prayer cards, holy water, and other sacramentals available for loan.  A clip-board with a list for special prayer intentions is read at the end of our morning prayers every morning.

If anyone would like to add a special prayer intention to our prayer list, please post it to our guestbook and I would be happy to add it to our list of website prayer intentions.

SAINTS -
The word ‘saint’ comes from the Latin sanctus, meaning sacred, inviolate, or holy. A saint is a very holy person who lived a life of such great virtue and sanctity that they have a special closeness to God.
