WHAT INDIANS EAT
Some of the Indian women ate something called Succotash they made it with corn and other ingredients.
The most popular crop the Indians ate is corn and maize Indain women were very important because they were gardeners, and
that was the way that everyone got food. The three sisters is a way most farmers grow there crops. It comes from the crops
named Corn, Bean, and Squash.
Indian Cooking
The Indian women couldn't cook their food on a stove because stoves weren't invented yet. So
they roasted their food in ashes and broiled it. They made soup or stew over the fire. They also smoked meat and roasted
corn. It is a lot different then what we do today.
