Firearms Safety and Concealed Weapon Training

Why you need to train

There is a big difference between having a piece of paper that allows you to carry a handgun and being able to use that handgun in a self defense situation.

1. In the real world, you may be required to defend yourself under different conditions.

·         Daylight

·         Dark

·         Dim light and dark

·         Noise and confusion

·         Multiple targets

2.  Your current training does not imitate reality

at the Range:

·         The target does not shoot back

·         The target does not move

·         The backstop is safe

·         If your handgun malfunctions it does not matter

3.  On the street:

·         The target does shoot back

·         The target does move

·         The back stop is not safe

·         The malfunction of your handgun can be a life threatening problem.

UT , VA, and FL CCW permits are not honored in Maryland

UT, FL, and VA Permits are available to qualified non-residents who meet that states eligibility to be licensed.

*A CCW permit issued by one state may be valid in one or more other states under a specific, two-way agreement (reciprocity) or another form of acceptance.

This course exceeds the requirements as set forth in Florida, Virginia and Utah CCW legislation.

*Important Note!
Reciprocity between states may change as states are added or removed from each state list when individual state carry laws change and/or there are other developments. Therefore, it is critical that you keep yourself informed whether a given state will accept your permit(s) before you enter that state! There are websites that can help you with this task but to be safe, you should contact the state(s) directly.
