FIRST stands for "Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training," a program the NRA developed to meet the need for a firearms orientation program for new gun purchasers.
 
Course:  This FIRST Steps program is a basic course condensed to the most fundamental shooting skills, and the specifics of a particular model of pistol.  You will be trained and will shoot both the Revolver and Semi-Automatic Handgun in this course.  Students will get the NRA's The Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook and practical lessons on the safe use, cleaning, and storage of their pistol. Smith and Wesson, Beretta, and Glocks are used.
 
Lesson:  Approximately six hours of this course will be in the classroom, and one hour will be on the range. This is a perfect course for those completely new to firearms, been away from shooting for awhile, and/or for young adults who are interested in learning the shooting sports.
 
Cost:  $200/plus ammunition cost - Includes NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Orientation,Completion Certificate, Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Training Program brochure, Targets, eye & ear protection, and range fees included.

Ammunition (or buy from us)
Handgun (If needed, we can provide this for you)
Ball Cap
