The
PMGA and its Membership
Any male golfer can join the PMGA. Fill out the usual application form and return it
with the appropriate membership fee. The fee primarily covers the cost of processing a USGA handicap. A portion of the fee
is returned to the PMGA in prizes throughout the year.
Pinecrest tournaments are usually open only to PMGA members.
Some tournaments during the year may be open to member's guests and the general public in the hope of recruiting new members.
However, no visitor is allowed to play more than one PMGA tournament without joining the PMGA.
Weekend Tournament
(Usually scheduled to begin at 7:30 am)
Any PMGA member is eligible to play in
the biweekly, Sunday tournaments.
The entry fee for each tournament is usually
$10, and prizes are awarded at the end of the tournament to approximately the top one-third of the scorers.
Wednesday Night League (tee times between 3:00 and 4:30 pm)
Any PMGA member who has paid the annual
membership fee is eligible to participate in the Wednesday Night League (WNL) and enter the tournament Sessions, subject
to availability of tee times.
Even with a few people starting earlier than 3:00 (when course conditions permit) we
can put out only about 52 players each Wednesday. Many of the available slots in any Session are already guaranteed for continuing
Wednesday Night players. Please contact the WNL Chairman to put your name on the waiting list for new members hoping to play
in an upcoming Session. Access and priority on the waiting list for new players is strictly first-come, first-serve.
Session Fees
Every member of the Wednesday Night League
is expected to participate in all four of the six-week competitive Sessions conducted during the year. The entry fee for each
Session is $10, and prizes are awarded at the end of the Session to approximately the top one-third of the scorers. Your entry
fee is due on the first night of each Session.
Complete details of the PMGA are available
in the PMGA Handbook available on this website.
