My name is P. Edward Murray, Hello and Welcome to my website!
Everyone seems to be building one so I thought in this new century it might be the best way to show off my interest in
Astronomy and provide a way for my old High School & College friends to get in touch with me.
For starters, I'm 48 year old SWM ( Never Married ) College Educated Technician (formerly a Team Leader at
The Panasonic National Diagnostic Center). I'm 5' 6" and have Hazel eyes and Blonde hair with a touch of gray now.
Although my training is in Political Science (B.A. 1980 Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio) most of my adult life I've
been a technical support rep.
And, at the moment, I am looking for a position, being outsourced some months ago. So, if you might be interested please
send me an e-mail.
Other than that, I still am interested in Politics, having had quite a bit of experience on the campaign trail, being
a campaign manager enough times to know I should have just been a volunteer and a campaign treasurer.
Way back in 1984, I spearheaded the Gary Hart for President primary campaign in Bucks County, Pennsylvania which is a
suburb of Philadelphia.
That year we had 4 Delegate seats up for grabs and at a time when former Vice President Walter Mondale thought he had
the whole state, we managed to win 3 out of the 4 seats out of a total of 17 Hart Delegates picked!
So, I became an Elected Delegate to the 1984 Democratic National Convention.
Apart from my interest in Politics and of course History, I've always been interested in Astronomy and I call myself
an Amateur Astronomer (lover of Astronomy) along with a couple of hundred thousand or so fellow Americans who
enjoy the hobby.
Presently, I am a member and past president of The Bucks-Mont. Astronomical Assoc., Inc., a 501 (c) 3 Membership-Based,
Non-Profit Educational Org.
It's a great club with a lot of good folks in it!
