Alcohol is a depressant and is found in beverages.  Large amounts of alcohol at one time can kill a person.  Alcohol beverage is a legal drink for those who are 21 years of age and older. It is illegal for anyone who is under 21 to drink beverages with alcohol in it.  Drinking can harm judgement.  You make wrong decisions while under the influence of alcohol.  For example, you run in the street without looking and you can cause car accidents because your eyes are unable to focus correctly.  Drinking can also harm your memory.  Alcohol slows the activity of brain cells.  It can cause black outs.  Black out is a period of time that is missing from a persons memory.  Drinking can lead to bad character.     Drinking lots of alcohol all of the time can make you an alcoholic.  It is an addictive type of drug.
