The day started as overcast but as we headed closer to Beaune, France it cleared up and became a beautiful day.
We stopped for lunch about 1-1/2 hours before Beaune at a place called Casino. This was a cafeteria style restaurant
that was in a shopping mall. It was our first chance to use our French - needless to say we got some wide-eyed attention!!!

After we checked in we all met in the front of the hotel and headed out on our walking orientation tour. Ben lead
us to the center of town, explained the town and where to go and then set us free. David and I wanted to ship some wine
home so Ben had recommended one of the wine caves.

The bus driver adds so much to the tour - Juan was very charismatic, he interacted with all of us and was very approachable.
On top of that he was a great driver - there were many times you just wondered "how did he do that" and not one scratch or
bump. Thanks Juan for making some fun memories for us, we'll never forget you.
