Good Morning...today we were up early - packed - and ate breakfast.  We loaded up the bus and we were on our way at 8:30am.  We had our typical 2 hour stops for a bus break - check out the automatic cleaning toilets - and then finally arrived in Rothenburg, Germany.  The bus stopped just outside the city wall and we walked down about 1/4 mile to our hotel - the hotel Gerberhaus.  It was about lunch time so we all headed across the street from our hotel to the Golden Rose Hotel where tables were setup in the courtyard in the rear of the building under the shade of the trees.

 

After lunch we were led on a walking tour up to the center of town and then let go to explore the small town on our own.  Later that day we did some laundry at the hotel and had dinner in the courtyard and then headed over to the beer hall for a couple of beers and some entertainment.  It was a perfect evening!
