On December 30, 2008 Grace's Law was signed into law by Acting Governor
Codey! As of March 30, 2009 NJ insurers will be mandated to cover hearing aids for children
under 15 years old at $1000 per aid every 24 months! NJ is now the 13th state to have a mandate!
Thank you to Governor Corzine, Acting Governor Codey, Speaker of the House Roberts, all of the sponsors
of bills S467/A1571 and all NJ legislators who voted YES (which was everyone except 3!!!). Thank you to all those who supported
our efforts, wrote letters, made calls, signed the petition and in so many other ways. Citizens can make a difference!
