"On The Delaware Canal" is taken from a bike ride I made in 2004. We rode
66 miles that day. From Washington's Crossing, we crossed over the Delaware River to New Jersey and followed the Delaware
and Raritin Canal north to Frenchtown. We then crossed over to Pennsylvania and continued north toward Easton. This is the
area in which this painting depics. The trail here had yet to be paved over with fine crushed red stone and the going was
not as easy as it had been. It was a hot day in August and this bridge, a typical bridge of the Delaware Canal, was
a perfect place to stop, rest and get out from under the sun. We continued north for another 10 miles before turning around
and following the canal back to our car.

"On the Delaware Canal" is painted only with color pencils using a dry technique.
This means at no time was water used to soften the pigments.
I chose a heavy weight Strathmore paper, 28" X 18". It is double matted and elegantly
framed, over all dimension 38" X 28". A perfect edition to any office or home.
