Where does the time go? I didn't realize that nearly a month had passed since my last blog entry. I'd better
add a goal to my growing list that includes blogging on a regular basis.
Yes, my goals don't get developed until January 9 because that's the start of my own personal new year. I'm revamping
the way I think about my writing goals since in 2006 my eyes were opened up to a slew of new markets which have helped me
to break out of the "I'm only going to write novels" mindset.
I haven't dismissed that mindset. Not at all. In fact, later today I will be starting a novel that's been
kicking to get out of my head and onto paper. The one good thing about the way I procrastinate is that while I'm *not*
doing something, my brain is working on it. As such, I tend to write volcanically. Dormant periods are usually
followed by a flow of activity.
I'm eager to put that theory back to work. Thus, I had better turn my efforts from here to the lava pool.
Till next time,
Jill.
