Yes, progress is being made on
both the goal-meeting and Black Horse Pike fronts.
Last week I met with Walt Ellis,
a member of the Blackwood Lake Advisory Group, to discover all I could about the rescued caboose that sits in Blackwood and
the rail line upon which it used to run, which is now a very nice bike path. While
we were talking, Ed Thomas walked by. He’s the keeper of some wonderful old photographs
I hope I can include the in The Black Horse Pike. Unfortunately
Ed doesn’t own the photos—he’s their caretaker. I do hope I can use them. It would be a shame to keep these moments in history hidden away.
And just in time to help me meet
another one of my goals, Koboca Publishing has invited me to participate in another revenge-themed anthology of short stories
entitled, Oh, Enemy Mine. This volume will contain each author’s
best take on “what I would wish on my worst enemy.” The possibilities
are endless! I’m looking forward to submitting my stories. Koboca is a class act—very professional and knowledgeable—and the end product is impressive.
I’ll post more about Oh,
Enemy Mine as publication nears.
Till next time,
Jill.
