20 Milford St.
The Christopher Slocumb House circa 1849.
In 1824 Ralph
Mann owned this land, and he sold the land for #20 to Christopher Slocum. There were no houses there and no Milford
Street yet. It was part of the 25.5 acres Mann sold Slocumb between Highland and Main.
When was the
house built? Christopher Slocumb started paying taxes on it in 1849, and it was described by Noah Coombs as his
west abbuter "Slocoms house lot" in 1850.
