Quixote Entertainment LLC is a privately-owned corporation that was established in November 2005. Our principal purpose and business is to produce theatrical motion pictures. The company plans to develop and produce films that uphold the recent trend of critically acclaimed and commercially successful independent films. We at Quixote Entertainment believe in providing our filmmakers with the freedom and resources to realize their art. We bring together those people who we believe to be the finest filmmakers with the goal of making films that excel in terms of quality, success, and message. |

Wade Rowland, President and Producer Wade Rowland brings a strong mix of creativity and business experience to the table. Wade has an MA in English from University of Texas, where he also taught for several years. He also taught literature classes at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where he received his BA in English. He has written screenplays, served as a reader for the screenplay competition for the Austin Film Festival, and as a panelist for the Spindletop Film Festival. He has appeared in or worked on the crew for dozens of film projects in the Austin area, where he quickly developed a reputation as a passionate, tireless worker. His dedication to the projects that inspired him helped him develop strong relationships with everyone he worked with, which has shown in the interest people have shown in working on Quixote´s first feature film. Wade founded Quixote Entertainment in 2005 along with his brother Russell. |

Russell Rowland, Vice President and Producer
After working in the finance department of Foote, Cone and Belding advertising agency for nine years, Russell Rowland sold his first novel, In Open Spaces, to Harpercollins in 2002. The novel was named among the Best of the West 2002 by the Salt Lake City Tribune, and it made the San Francisco Chronicle´s bestseller list. Russell previously served in the US Navy, owned and operated a Stride Rite Bootery, and taught creative writing at St. Mary´s College, the Gotham Writing Workshops, and at Boston University, where he completed his MA in Creative Writing,. He has been named as a MacDowell fellow, and one of his short stories was named among the notable stories of 2006 by The Million Writers Award. Besides producing films, Russell also serves as a private consultant to other writers. |
